I've spent few days in Paris to see suppliers,work work!

Now im back home finishing up the jewellery going in Hong-Kong soon...

While in Paris, a friend of mine went to the Theophilus London's concert..

My friend, Sarah, had her black polar bear necklace around her neck, TL liked it and Sarah gave him the necklace... Since then, Theophilus London went to Le grand journal on Canal+ tv, and what? He was wearing the Polar bear necklace on stage in Cannes

Me happy? this is such a light word...

The fashion trade show went really well...

Placed in the Nomad lounge at the Première Classe, surrounded by other brilliant creatives, Culoyon, Origami Jewellery, Tatty Devine etc...

There will be 5 new more stockist for me wich is BIG and bringing me hell lots of smile on my face.

Here is a note to those who made the catalog possible, them time & energy more needed.

Even though this is not a worldwide catalog,its my first catalog so im all like "oohh thank you blah" but those people are more than that to me, so they deserve a public APPLAUSE in here!

Merci to Emmanuel Nzengu the photographer, he did everything in a very short time, in a sort of small flat, with crazy elements around :) and most of all, he did capture the thing i wanted in the models without me saying so much.. He's a pro, and it was smooth to work belong him.ROCK ON!

Merci to Clio, Loic, Manon, Matthieu & Saskia... THE models! they're not in "agency" kind of thing, they are my friends, and there is also my sister in it. They all have this face you just know it'll suit the shoots you want, they all have these expression important to me.. They have this caracter i like in people.

They also were very patient with me, with Manu, everyone.. they waited a bit, but i know they had a whole lot of fun... ;) (Matthieu dressing up and all!!!)

Ca y est, premier marché de créateurs au Waz'town Market c'est fait!

Une bien belle réussite d'ailleurs, très bonne ambiance, beaucoup de monde, musique comme on l'aime.. Il faut désormais enchainer avec le Marché des Modes (évenement Maisons de Mode)

Et j'attend ce week end avec impatience.

Plus de 100 créateurs seront présents..

Les horaires sont :

Vendredi 10 décembre de 16h à 21h. (Nocturne)
Samedi 11 décembre de 11h à 23h. (Nocturne)
Dimanche 12 décembre de 11h à 19h.

I've only discovered his artwork on the web last week---> Yochai Matos

All i know for the moment is that he is from Israel, in Tel-Aviv, working on lightings sculptures,also on Jewells, and im very found of his installations.

One of them is called "Flame (gate)"

You have this massive flame made out of light tubes, standing in the middle of a forest, with a wooden structure holding the whole installation..

Im bad at explaining other's works, just discover it by yourself !

Worth it!

La métropole Lilloise célèbre Londres du 1er au 12 décembre, plusieurs événements seront organisés en lien avec Lille3000.

A la maison Folie de Wazemmes aura lieu le "Waz'town Market", marché de créateurs & commerçants Londoniens.. fripes vintages Made In London, accessoires, disques, DJs, street art, ainsi que quelques créateurs Lillois.

J'y tiendrai un stand avec de nouvelles pièces

Vendredi 3 : 18H/22H

Samedi 4 : 14H/19H

Dimanche 5 : 10H/19H

The town of Lille celebrates London from the 1st of december until the 12th with many differents events in partnership with Lille3000.

At "Maison folie de Wazemmes" (wich is a place that offers many possibilities for art & culture to be shown to everybody. exhibitions, performances, workshops etc. there is few Maisons folie in & around Lille), there will be the Waz'town Market with plenty & differents designers from London but also from Lille. Second hand clothes, accessories, vinyls, DJs, street art and much more..

I will be there with some new creations..

I've been there few month ago for a good friend of mine..

It's ok to be inspired by others, some people inspired me lots..

and we're never,ever, the very first one to create THE piece of work.

BUT i believe there's a master world between "being inspired" & "total copy"

So, it's late, and i can't call any lawyer right now.

BUT, i make this a very PERSONAL business, as Lenaklax is VERY, VERY, VERY important to me.

Inside Lenaklax there's all my guts, fears & love.

And NOBODY has the right to just step on the top of my head for the simple reason that from where i come from "you can NOT do that"

Im furious.

For real, in real.

Oh, and i forgot: my jewells, the ones you might be wearing already are ALL LEGALY PROTECTED!

"RUMBLE" or when it goes all messed up in your head and there's not much you can do about it.

Rumbling full on inside.

"RUMBLE" or when you want to shout out loud but you're facing some complicated "people" with very tight mind, with terrible ideas..

all you have is your thunder left.

you know, :"the one"...

"RUMBLE" or when you wish you would be as calm as some people you'll cross the path of (or the very fine"jungle" of bad tongues).

You wish but you're not.

Not calm.

You want to talk slowly and with very specific words, but no.

All you got is annoying bits & pieces of violence.

Its ok to have some, better not to show it though...

Better to keep it all inside, have this as a gift.

Its ok to have it.

"RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE", its also about two people facing each other.

he/she has "words", you have the "rumble"

I do not have the words.

"RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE" the name of my next collection comes from the name of the historic boxing event that took place in 1974 in Zaire, between Muhammad Ali & George Foreman.

Ali won over foreman in the eighth round.

My dad always talked to me about it, on how this fight was huge as Ali had different technics than he used to have in the past.

He changed the plans,Foreman was totally confused . Ali has been calm the whole fight with all the rage inside.

Foreman talked too much on the ring, and Ali knew what was Foreman's weakness: tiredness & too much talking to impress.

Georges Foreman losted.

Rumble, i do, jungle, facing them too.

★★ 48HS MAISONS DE MODE TERMINE//PETIT FEEDBACK ★★

Mais quel WEEK-END !

Depuis vendredi nous sommes (l'équipe de MDM & les créateurs) tous à 100%!! (voyons plus:200%)

Une énergie qui se balade, qui se re-file, qui ne s' essouffle même pas.. Un vrai tourbillon d'émotions !

Le défilé de 17h vendredi , puis celui de 20H.. Alors il y a une grande nouvelle, mais j'ai un peu de mal à y croire, et de fait, du mal à le dire...

D'ailleurs je sais pas comment "faire" pour annoncer une chose pareil, deja parce qu'il y a eu tellement d'autres choses pendant ces 48HS... (mais promis je reviendrai là dessus avec photos/vidéos à l'appui)

Alors j'ai gagné.

Un prix, et pas des moindres..

J'ai avant tout gagné la reconnaissance de personnes qui ont jugé bon de croire en moi et mes bijoux..

En fait, pour éviter de passer pour une andouille, je vais expliquer (vite fait) pourquoi "ça", ça me bouleverse (et je pèse mes mots)..

J'ai appris quelques métiers "sur le tas", grâce à des personnes de mon entourage bienveillantes.(AMK par ex.)

En mai 2009, j'ai décidé de tout arrêter pour me consacrer à la création bijoux et en faire "mon" métier.

J'ai eu "peur" de me lancer, je ne suis pas partie avec un bagage de confiance "en moi" énorme, j'ai fais peur à mon entourage également... C'est vrai, j'ai 30 ans "peut être j'aurai du faire ça avant"..

Mais oui MAIS NON! "Avant" ça n'était pas possible, je mûrissais mon idée "un peu" et j'avais peur "beaucoup", et puis on fait d'autres choses aussi.. on "test"

Pis j'ai eu de la chance, mon ancien employeur m'a toujours fait confiance, ma famille aussi malgré tout, mes amis..

Et puis je me suis lancé!

Rien à perdre.

Mais il n'empêche que c'est vraiment dur d'avoir confiance en soi quand on ne vient pas d'une école d'art, de création etc, et que, ce que l'on aime faire fait partie de cette famille. (enfin je crois)

Toujours est-il que voilà, des personnes du milieu de la mode me font confiance, croient en moi... et comme je disais sur ma page FB, ils ont le "toupet" de croire en ce que je fais, et c'est vraiment ce qui pouvait m'arriver de mieux.

Merci à eux.

(J'espère que ça ne sonne pas trop "Blah".toute manière je sais pas faire autrement,là tout de suite ,maintenant.)

By the end of this week the " 48H DE LA MODE " will take place for nearly 3 days.

The whole " Maisons de Mode " crew is showing off them savoir-faire.

There will be catwalk,pop-up shop, a glam run (got to run with high heels...),custom workshop,and more..

All the creatives from Maisons de mode will be there.

I'll also be there as now im part of this structure
